The Annapurna Region in central Nepal is the most geographically and culturally diverse region for trekking. The area boasts of a variety of diverse cultures, tribes and castes as the Brahmins, Chettris, Newars, Gurungs, Magars, Manangis and the Tibetans. This area has sub-tropical lowlands, valleys, and forests of bamboo, oak and rhododendron, alpine meadows, windswept desert plateaus and the towering Annapurna Mountains. This area has the world's deepest river gorge, Kali Gandaki, lying some 6900 metres/22,563 ft., below some of the world's largest and most beautiful mountains as the Annapurna I (world's 8th highest) & Fishtail (one of the most beautiful). 440 species of birds and animals like the marten, deer, langur and the elusive snow leopard live here.

The cost stated below is Nett cost per person for a minimum of 2 people travelling together, based in US Dollars on twin sharing basis and valid till 31st december 2009.

The cost includes :

• All transfer to and from the International Airport and hotel on arrival and departure a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by the trek Guide/Sirdar
• All transfer to and from the Domestic Airport and hotel post trek in a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by the trek Guide/Sirdar
• 3 Nights accommodation in Kathmandu (3 star hotel) on Bed & Breakfast Basis and inclusive of all taxes.
• Sightseeing in Kathmandu as per itinerary in a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by an professional English speaking guide
• All monumental fees as applicable during the sightseeing tour
• Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by the trek Guide/Sirdar
• Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul pre trek in a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by the guide.
• 8 Nights / 9 Days trek in the Annapurna region inclusive of the Sirdar/Escort/Guide will be assisted by Sherpas who will guide and assist the members on the trail. Food will be prepared by the cook at the Tea Houses from the menu upon discussion with the group's preference and the things that are available. The staff will be assisted by reliable porters hired locally to carry the luggage.
• Annapurna Conservation project area fee (ACAP) of US $ 30.00 per person
• Trekking Information Management System (TIMS) fee
• Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara post trek in a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by the guide.
• 2 Nights accommodation in Kathmandu (3 star hotel) on Bed & Breakfast Basis and inclusive of all taxes.
• Transfer from Pokhara hotel to Domestic airport in a private deluxe non a/c vehicle accompanied by the guide.
• Airfare for the sector Pokhara Katmandu of US$ 98.00 per person with airport tax. (Subject to change without prior notice)
• All expenses for the guide, his daily allowances including his meals and flight from Pokhara / Kathmandu with the guest.

• Items of a personal nature such as bar bills telephone calls, laundry, extra mileage and any extra costs incurred due to natural calamities, flight delays etc.

• Cancellation of flights etc due to unforeseen uncertainties beyond the control of Sacred Summits (P) Ltd.
