Dhan Bahadur Gurung, born and brought up at the laps of the Himalayas, Gorkha, Nepal, is a Sherpa (field staff) assisting in treks and expeditions of Sacred Summits (P) Ltd. Having trekked and climbed peaks and mountains with clients of different nationalities in Nepal and Tibet, he is experienced in dealing with people and caters to the demands of his job very efficiently.

His sturdiness, resilience and endurance in the harsh conditions and high altitude areas, and his familiarity of the local mountainous regions have been an asset to the team.

An avid learner, Dhan Bahadur has gradually come to be an all-round field assistant capable in setting up camps as well as preparing delightful meals. His rhythmic dexterity comes to light when he takes the maadal (Nepali drum) to entertain guests at the end of the day.
